The Camí de sa Figuera

The walk

In the month of May 1561, the Saracens disembarked at Ses Puntes, and splitting up into two squads, made their way towards Sóller where they sacked the church and took numerous of prisoners. One of the platoons took the Camí de sa Figuera path, and it was here that the exploits of the inhabitants of Sóller took place, as they finally achieved a victory that is still commemorated every year on the second Sunday in May.

Suitable for: children over 3 years old. Children's pushchair and wheelchairs only on the urban part of the walk is suitable.
